The listing carries no opening or closing date, because nobody applies. What decided when a Std I to VIII boy got his uniform in 2022-23 was the Directorate's order. Its e-tender of 31 January 2022 sought 43,928 uniform pairs for Std I to V boys and 26,354 for Std VI to VIII, and the work order of 21 March 2022 allowed the supplier 100 days to deliver to schools (Directorate of Education e-tender, cancellation order).

The supplier did not deliver despite reminders by letter, WhatsApp and phone, and in December 2022 the Directorate cancelled the order and barred the firm from its tenders for two years (Directorate of Education cancellation order). The replacement bid on the Government e-Marketplace, dated 22 December 2022 and closing on 12 January 2023, sought 47,322 uniform pairs for boys from pre-primary to Std V and 26,046 for Std VI to VIII, with 120 days for delivery (Directorate of Education GeM bids, December 2022).

The 2022-23 boys' kit was therefore still out to bid on 12 January 2023 (Directorate of Education GeM bids, December 2022), well past the first quarter of the academic year, which an older Daman & Diu department profile on the UT portal gives as the time limit for stationery and uniform supply (Education Department profile). No distribution date for the current year is published.

Three conditions are published: the child is a student, is in Class 1 to 8, and studies in a government school in the UT (myScheme scheme record).
