About SS-DADRA AND NAGAR HAVELI AND DAMAN & DIU
Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 is the Government of India's integrated nutrition programme, administered by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. It merges three earlier schemes, the Anganwadi Services (once known as the Integrated Child Development Services), POSHAN Abhiyaan and the Scheme for Adolescent Girls, under a single mission, with Anganwadi centres as the point of delivery.
In the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, the Social Welfare Department runs the scheme locally. Support comes in kind rather than as cash. Supplementary nutrition is provided alongside health check-ups, immunisation, pre-school education, nutrition counselling and referral to health services, with the stated aim of reducing malnutrition and supporting early childhood care and development.
The programme is meant for children below six years of age, pregnant women and lactating mothers, and adolescent girls aged 14 to 18. What you receive depends on your category and on enrolment at the Anganwadi centre serving your area.

What you get
Award & benefits
- Under the scheme, Pregnant women, lactating mothers, and children in the age group of 0 to 3 years receive Take Home Ration (THR) in the form of ready-to-eat nutritious ladoos on a monthly basis. Additionally, children aged 3 to 6 years are provided with hot cooked meals at the Anganwadi Centres.
