Overview

About SCYUK

Shodhgrantha Chayan Yojana is a state scheme of the Department of Sanskrit Education, Uttarakhand. It invites scholars to submit research manuscripts on Sanskrit literature, along with research books of social relevance that connect Sanskrit literature to the Uttarakhand context.

The department oversees Sanskrit education across the state and works alongside the Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy, the state body that collects and preserves Sanskrit manuscripts. Under this scheme, a research work that is selected carries a cash benefit for the author.

Applications are open to individual scholars, and submissions are accepted from any state in India rather than from Uttarakhand alone. If you write on Sanskrit literature, you can put forward your research manuscript for consideration.
