Overview

About SFSPBBC

The Scholarship for C.G. Domicile Students Pursuing Engineering Courses Outside Chhattisgarh State is a cash scholarship run by the Directorate of Technical Education under the Chhattisgarh government's Technical Education Department. It is a state-level scheme for students who hold a Chhattisgarh domicile and are studying a B.E. or B.Tech course at a recognised engineering college outside the state.

Its purpose is to help cover the cost of pursuing an engineering degree away from home. The award is directed first at students in their opening year, and any places left unfilled in the later years of the course are taken up as they fall vacant. The benefit is paid as direct financial assistance, credited to the student's bank account.

The scheme is meant for Chhattisgarh-domiciled candidates enrolled in B.E. or B.Tech programmes outside the state, at institutions such as the IITs, NITs, IISc or AICTE-approved colleges. Applications are made offline: the completed form and supporting documents go to the Director of Technical Education at Nava Raipur, and the department verifies them before the amount is released.
