The Scheme for the Award of Scholarship for the Under Graduate Meritorious Students of Various Faculties of Junagadh Agricultural University is a state-level scholarship run by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Government of Gujarat. It pays a monthly cash scholarship to meritorious undergraduate students enrolled in the various faculties of Junagadh Agricultural University.
Junagadh Agricultural University is a state agricultural university at Junagadh in Gujarat. It was established on 1 May 2004, when the earlier Gujarat Agricultural University was reorganised into four separate universities under the Gujarat Agricultural University Act, and it works across agricultural education, research and extension in the region. Its teaching is organised into faculties covering agriculture, agricultural engineering and technology, fisheries and postgraduate studies.
The scheme is aimed at students who perform well academically in their undergraduate programmes at the university. The benefit is paid as cash, month by month while the student is enrolled, and girl students in the undergraduate faculties are also eligible for hostel accommodation. Because it is tied to a single institution, it reaches only students admitted to and studying at Junagadh Agricultural University, not the wider college system in Gujarat.

Who can apply
Eligibility criteria
| Applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate program in any faculty of Junagadh Agricultural University. | |
| Applicant must have secured at least 45% marks in the Science stream of the HSC examination. | |
| Note: The students from College of Agriculture, Junagadh, Mota Bhandariya and Khapat Priority will be given to the girls candidates and if the sufficient number of girls candidates are not available then remaining number of fellowship will be given to economical poor boys candidates on merit basis. |
Who cannot apply
Exclusions
- The awardee under this scheme will not be allowed to receive any other regular scholarship, free ship stipend loan or any other financial assistance.

- Undergraduate Students: ₹1,000/- per month for 12 months.- Free Accommodation: Free hostel accommodation for girl students in all undergraduate faculties.
- Duration: The duration of the scholarship will be as per duration (or total period) of Graduation including semester end breaks and vacations.- Number of Scholarships: 36
