About PMSBTSC
The Post Matric Scholarship for Students belonging to Scheduled Caste Community is run by the Mizoram Scholarship Board under the Government of Mizoram. It is the state's channel for the Government of India's post-matric scholarship for Scheduled Caste students, which state welfare bodies administer for residents in their own state.
The scheme provides cash assistance to help Scheduled Caste students meet the cost of studying after matriculation. Support typically covers tuition and compulsory fees along with a maintenance allowance, so that fees and day-to-day expenses are less likely to interrupt a student's education.
