Overview
About OSH
The Operation of Sports Hostels scheme is run by the Tribal Area Development Department, Government of Rajasthan. Under it, the department operates residential sports hostels in the state's tribal areas, where selected students live, study, and train together.
The aim is to bring more tribal students into competitive sport and to prepare them for national and international events. The support is given in kind rather than as cash: students admitted to a hostel get free accommodation, coaching from specialist trainers, nutritious meals, and the other facilities they need to keep training while they finish school.
It is meant for tribal students in Classes 6 to 12 in Rajasthan, with admission handled by the Tribal Area Development Department.

Who can apply
Eligibility criteria
| The applicant should be a resident of Rajasthan. | |
| The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Tribe community. | |
| The applicant should be studying in class 6th to 12th.1. The applicant should not have any disability or suffering from any serious illness. | |
| The applicant’s parents/guardians should not be income tax payers. | |
| The applicant should not be a failed student in the last examination. | |
| Note: Only those students who pass the selection test will be admitted to the sports hostel. |
