Family income never enters the test: neither the myScheme record nor the board's schemes page publishes an income ceiling, and the qualifying condition is the worker's registration, not what the household earns. A wife of a registered male worker who is herself enrolled in Class 11 or 12 sits inside the scheme's own definition of a beneficiary, which is unusual among student schemes.

The source publishes no exclusion list for this scheme. The one hard limit sits in the board's own framing of its education head, and it is easy to miss: every education benefit is for the first two children of the registered worker, so a third child reaching Class 11 has no route into the award.

No renewal procedure is published anywhere for the scheme. Tracking the money is the question that outlasts the form-filling, and the board keeps the answer on its own site. Separately, the board publishes running lists of beneficiaries whose benefit transfers succeeded, with a matching page for failed transfers, so a family waiting on the money can check whether the payment went through or bounced before queuing anywhere.

The board publishes nothing that behaves like selection for this benefit: it ranks nobody, caps no yearly count of awards, and convenes no committee between the claim and the payment. A claim stands or falls on the registration and the mark sheet, and the 50% marks test that filters the board's exam-based award does not apply to this one.

The benefit rides on the worker's standing, year to year: registration with the board carries an annual subscription, and the child's claim presumes a parent whose membership is current. It is also strictly a Maharashtra entitlement. The board belongs to the state's Labour Department, and a worker who migrates to another state falls under that state's own construction workers board, with whatever slabs that board has set for itself.
