Overview

About TUKPMSST

The Transgender Utthan Kosh Pre-Matric Scholarship is a Rajasthan state scheme run by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department. It forms the pre-matric education part of the Transgender Utthan Kosh, a welfare fund the department set up for the state's transgender community.

The scholarship is a cash benefit paid to transgender students through the school years up to the pre-matric stage. Its stated purpose is to help meet the cost of schooling so that transgender children stay in education and are less likely to drop out.
