About TESSITIL
The Technical Education Scholarship Scheme for ITI Level is a state scholarship run by the Department of Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training, Government of Himachal Pradesh. It supports trainees from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class families who are enrolled in the state's Industrial Training Institutes.
The benefit is a monthly cash scholarship, paid into the trainee's own bank account over the training period. It is financial support only, and a trainee still needs a seat at a recognised ITI in the state to draw it.
It is meant for Indian citizens who are bona fide residents of Himachal Pradesh, hold the SC, ST or OBC certification notified by the state government, and are studying at a recognised ITI in the state. The department fixes the exact conditions and the amount payable.

Who can apply
Eligibility criteria
| The applicant should belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Class (OBC) as notified by the Himachal Pradesh State Government. | |
| The applicant should be a bonafide Himachali. | |
| The applicant should be studying in a Government or Government-recognized Industrial Training Institute (I.T.I.) or I.T.I. for Women in Himachal Pradesh. | |
| The applicant should be pursuing technical training and require financial assistance to continue the course. |
What you get
Award & benefits
- The scholarships shall be paid at the rate of ₹250/- per month per trainee subject to the condition that the corresponding decrease shall be affected in the rate of scholarship if the trainees receive a stipend from any other department of the Government or any organization.
