Overview

About DDEC

Development and Dissemination of e-Content is a Uttarakhand state government scheme that gives students in classes 9 to 12 free e-learning material in core school subjects, including physics, chemistry, mathematics and English. The content is developed and delivered with established ed-tech platforms, so what a student receives is study material rather than a cash grant.

On the national myScheme portal it is listed as a State-level scheme under Uttarakhand's science and technology department, with the benefit recorded as in-kind.

Eligibility is open to any student of classes 9 to 12 studying in Uttarakhand. Students reach the material through the implementing centre's website and the free Vidyasaar app, and where a school has no internet connection the centre supplies a device so the course can be used offline.
