Overview

About CVCIS

The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) Internship Scheme is a short-term academic engagement that the Commission, India's apex integrity and anti-corruption body, started in 2016. On the national schemes portal it is listed under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, and interns are placed at the CVC headquarters in New Delhi.

The scheme is meant to bring young talent into the Commission's work on preventive vigilance and anti-corruption. Interns take up research and study assignments during the placement, and in return receive a monthly stipend along with workspace and internet access, and a certificate on completion.

It is open to Indian nationals who are graduates awaiting final-year results, postgraduates, or research students enrolled at recognised universities or institutions in India or abroad. Preference goes to those studying Law, IT, MBA, Social Sciences and related subjects. The intake each year is small and the engagement runs for a short window, so the scheme suits students who want direct exposure to how the Commission functions rather than a long placement.
